What's new
CentBase tells you what changed after each update. The first time you open a new build, a short dialog lists the release notes for that build, so you do not have to hunt for the changes.
After an update
When a new version installs, the next launch shows a dialog titled with that version, for example "What's new in 1.3.9". The dialog lists the notes for the build you just installed.
You have two choices:
- OK closes the dialog and returns you to the app.
- See all opens the full What's new page, where every release is listed newest first.
Tapping outside the dialog, or pressing Back, also closes it. Any of those choices counts as read, so the same dialog does not appear again for that build.
Open the full list anytime
The dialog is a shortcut, not the only way in. Open More, then Security & Support, then What's new. The page lists every release CentBase ships with, each with its version, date, and notes.
If you skipped several updates, the dialog still shows only the release you just installed. The full page is where the older notes live.
When the dialog appears
The dialog appears once per installed build. A new install does not see it on the first launch; the first update after installing brings it.
Some launches skip it so it does not cover what you are doing:
- A guided tour is running.
- You opened the app from the Add transaction shortcut on the app icon.
- The app is still finishing onboarding.
On those launches the dialog waits. It also takes priority over the other startup prompts, so the tutorial offer and the notification permission ask come on a later launch instead of stacking behind it.
